Stamped and sealed

I've got two letters to drop in the mail tomorrow. I won't tell you where they're going except to say that one is going to a zip code that starts with 99.

According to my calculations, I only have three more letters to write and send before the end of the year to accomplish my New Year's resolution.

I thought that writing letters by hand would improve my handwriting. I don't think it has. Maybe if I concentrated more on my penmanship instead of just getting to the end of the page, it would get better.

Most Portland zips begin with 97, but i'm not sure if that's all of Oregon or not.

AK is pretty much all 99. Seattle is 98 (at least the metropolitan and surrounding areas....like where I live).

sara you are so right. I kept thinking my ballard zip was 99 something but it was 98107. So some Alaskans are getting letters...Yippee!

Woo Hoo! We got one of the letters. We are happy to say that it was the very first non-bill we've received since arriving in Sitka. The wax seal was even more sexy in person, as well as C. Merrill's personal stationary.
